When Swing Meets World Music
Blueberry Jam's November concert is a cultural melting pot of nostalgic swing, Brazilian samba, Cuban salsa, Taiwanese jazz and contemporary bossa nova sprinkled with French groove.
Based in Moruya (south coast NSW Australia), our 7-piece band, delights the audience with storytelling and culture- sharing.

Why blueberries?
The band name came out of a blue moon meditation in 2023. As it turns out, the term fits nicely with how our band changes from gig to gig: In the online gaming world, blueberries are the random teammates that join your game for you to win a battle together. Since we often have different musicians joining us at different gigs, this name is a perfect fit for us - blueberries 'jamming' together.
For the November concert, the blueberries are Pei-Shan Wu (lead singer and song writer), Shane Edwards (bass guitar), Peter Heyward (flute and percussions), Phil Taylor (keyboard), Barny Barnbrook (clarinet, sax and percussions) and Mark Sutton (drums).
